PGSF Poster Contest
Role
Layout Design, Typography, Illustration
The Print and Graphics Scholarship Foundation created a poster contest for students to participate in by designing a poster that could be used for advertising their scholarship opportunities. Although PGSF gave quite a bit of creative freedom to participating designers, some specifications to consider were as follows: to create designs that could be used for a printed poster as well as a webpage, to include the designer's name and school name, and they suggested using bright and visible colors. PGSF also included three themes for inspiration, which were Print is Fire, Print is Spicy, and Print is Provocative. I created two potential poster designs in Illustrator.
